Apple iPad 2 Has Been Unveiled

After all the fanfare and rumours, Apple has finally unveiled its second generation iPad that is thinner, lighter, faster with smart covers.The new iPad 2 boast a hardware specification of 1GHz Apple A5 processor (this is 9 times faster than the first iPad), 9.7 inch Multi-Touch display, WiFi and optional 3G, Bluetooth, Front/Rear cameras with video recording, a digital compass, a gyrometer, an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.

Windows Phone 7 First Update Faces Its First Problem. Affects Samsung Handsets

Microsoft has revealed that the first update for Windows Phone 7 has been put on hold for Samsung handsets after repeated reports from users that the update has failed to install correctly and in some cases even bricked their phones.Microsoft figures that around 10 percent of users attempting to update has encountered the error and there may be three different causes for this failure, out which two of them can be fixed easily. The company says that nearly half of the failure has been caused by a lack of proper Internet connection or enough disk space to take backup of phone’s content.

Motorola Xoom Available on Verizon from Feb 24. Expect Adobe Flash in Spring 2011.

Verizon’s webpage for Xoom is live and officially announced that it will be available on Feb 24 2011. But what is interesting is that, the Android Honeycomb powered device will ship without Flash. But the it will be made available once the much awaited Adobe Flash 10.2 for mobile devices is released. This is a big disappointment, considering that Xoom is advertised as an iPad killer (of-course iPad also don’t have flash, but flash is big plus point for Xoom over iPad).

Every Friday we have taken the full export backup of one our database.This database is used for reporting purpose.Export dump size is around 25 GB. Backup mount point total space is 32 GB. Every weekend I have taken the backup and transfer the export dump (25 GB) to bridge server.In this article we will see how to quickly perform this action using “mknod”.

So we planned to revert back & restored the Physical backup.We plan to deploy new module in our database. Wall Street Journal reported iPad2 in Production

WSJ has reported that iPad2 was in production and this new edition will have a better hardware than the iPad while the display resolution remains the same. The WSJ also siad that the new iPad2 will be available on Verizon and AT&T. This new iPad2 is expected to be in the same price range as the old one, but the details needs to be confirmed. Like the old iPad, the iPad2 is being assembled by Foxconn.
