Apple is apparently planning on releasing public beta versions for both iOS 8.3 and iOS 9 this year, according to a rumor on the matter. This information reportedly comes from “multiple people briefed on the plans”.

Sony has regularly been criticized for its support policies, leaving behind mid-range models and taking its time with flagship updates.
Samsung’s U.S. website reveals that Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to receive Android 5.0 today. The information, listed on the Samsung support page.
The HTC One M8 is receiving its Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India. HTC has already explained that it won’t meet the deadline on updating for all variants of its flagship phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might get treated to Android 5.0 Lollipop before its newer cousin, the Galaxy Note 4. SamMobile reports that the Russian version of the Note 3 (SM -N900) can be updated.
