You can take screen shots of videos running in Windows Media Player, follow the simple steps below

Open up windows media player.

Go to tools-options.

Click on performance in options.

Click advanced button at the bottom.

Un-check the “Use Overlays” box under video acceleration.

Close out options.

Open a video you want to take a snapshot of.

Pause the video where you want to take the snapshot.

Press the prtscn/sysrq/insert key.

Close out windows media player.

Open Microsoft paint.

Press keys ctrl+V in ms paint.

Save the photo under the name you want by pressing ctrl & S.

Note

It will not work on macs.
