Microsoft Cortana’s International Versions Gets Instant Translation Support

Recently, Microsoft has announced that Cortana now supports instant translations for its French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions of Windows 10. With this update, she can now instantly translate words and phrases into other languages, so long as you are running Windows 10. You can also type the phrase into the Cortana toolbar in case you are in a place where you cannot speak it aloud.

This new feature is available right away and you ask her for help by saying “Hey Cortana, translate where is the nearest bust stop in Japanese” in any of the four languages above, and she will quickly respond with the result.

This feature makes Cortana a better travel companion for the above four language speakers. In addition, Microsoft’s Translator apps for other platforms might become indispensable tools for your trips, as well. It recently updated its iOS Translator app with the ability to work offline and added even more languages to its Android application.
