Learn how to use playlists in music app on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Personalize your music experience by creating music playlists.

Managing Playlists

To create, manage, or delete a playlist:

  • Touch Music icon.

Creating a Playlist

  • Touch the Playlists tab.
  • Touch Menu icon > Create playlist.
    or
  • Under My playlists, touch Create playlist.
  • Use the keyboard to enter a name for the playlist and touch OK.

Renaming a Playlist

  • Touch the Playlists tab.
  • Touch a playlist, touch Menu icon > Edit title, use the keyboard to enter a new name for the playlist, and touch OK.

Adding Songs to a Playlist

  • Touch the Playlists tab and, under My playlists, touch a playlist. Touch + Add tracks icon.
  • Touch the Tracks tab and touch Menu icon > Add to playlist.
  • Touch each song you want to add or touch Select all, and then touch Done.
  • If the ADD TO PLAYLIST screen displays, touch a playlist, Create playlist, or Now playing list.

Changing the Order of a Playlist

  • Touch the Playlists tab and, under My playlists, touch a playlist.
  • Touch Menu icon > Change order.
  • Touch the grid icon for an entry and drag the entry to a new position in the list.
  • Touch Done to change the order and save the playlist.

Playing a Playlist

  • Touch the Playlists tab.
  • Touch Favorites, Most played, Recently played, or Recently added, or touch a playlist title that you created.
  • Touch a song to start playing the playlist at that song.

Removing Songs from Playlists

  • Touch the Playlists tab and touch a playlist.
  • Touch Menu icon > Remove.
  • Touch each song you want to remove or touch Select all.
  • Touch Done to save the playlist.

Deleting a Playlist

  • Touch the Playlists tab.
  • Touch Menu icon > Delete.
  • Touch each playlist you want to remove or touch Select all.
  • Touch Done.

Note

This guide will work on all Samsung Galaxy Tabs; including Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
