Halo Championship Series Has Been Delayed

As a result of the matchmaking problem affecting The Master Chief Collection, the developers has postponed the beginning of the Halo Championship Series.

Halo franchise community manager Andy Dudynsky announced today that pre-season online cup play that was scheduled to begin Nov. 16, is postponed to Nov. 23 to give 343 Industries time to focus on ironing out the issues with The Master Chief Collection. He added that this delay will ensure that the first pre-season cup is up to the standards of fans and competitors.

The Halo Championship Series, which 343 and Microsoft Studios announced earlier this month, is an eSports league for Halo that is kicking off with Halo 2: Anniversary.
