You should craft items in Minecraft to recipe for most of the items. Follow the simple steps below

Understand that you can combine basic items in different ways to make lots of fun stuff in minecraft. You need to have all of the items listed to craft the item.

Keep in mind these things while reading the guide:

• IN = Items Needed
• Amount of those items needed to craft one items will be in parenthesis.
• After the instructions have been read, the number at the end of them will be how many of the item(s) you will get.
• Row is left to right, and column is up to down.

The Basic Recipes

Find the components needed, and then follow the directions as listed below to create various basic items.

• Wooden Plank. IN=any form of tree wood (1) Place one tree block anywhere on the Crafting Table to get a Wooden Plank. (4)
• Stick. IN=Wooden Plank (2) Place one Wooden Plank on the bottom row of the Crafting Table. Then, place another Wooden Plank directly on top of it. (4)
• Torch. IN=Coal (1) Stick (1) Place a stick at the bottom of the Crafting Table. Then, place a Coal directly on top of it. (4)
• Crafting Table. IN=Wooden Plank (4) Press E and fill up the 2×2 crafting grid. (1)
• Furnace. IN=Cobblestone (8) Place Cobblestone everywhere on the Crafting Table except for the middle. (1)
• Chest. IN=Wooden Plank (8) Place Wooden Planks everywhere on the Crafting Table except in the middle. (1)

Recipes For Blocks

Find the components needed, and then follow the directions as listed below to create various blocks.

• Iron Block. IN=Iron Ingot (9) Fill up all the squares on the Crafting Table with Iron Ingots. (1)
• Gold Block. IN=Gold Ingot (9) Fill up all the squares on the Crafting Table with Gold Ingots. (1)
• Diamond Block. IN=Diamond Gem (9) Fill up all the squares on the Crafting Table with Diamond Gems. (1)
• Lapis Lazuli Block. IN=Lapis Lazuli Dye (9) Fill up all the squares on the Crafting Table with Lapis Lazuli Dyes. (1)
• Glowstone Block. IN=Glowstone Dust (4) Place 2 Glowstone Dusts next to each other on the bottom of the Crafting Table. Place two more Glowstone Dusts on top of them. It should look like a 2×2 square of Glowstone Dust. (1)
• Wool. IN=String (4) Make a 2×2 square on the Crafting Table. (1)
• TNT. IN=Sand (4) Gunpowder (5) Make an X shape on the Crafting Table. Fill in the extra spaces with sand. (1)
• Stone Slab. IN=Stone (3) Place 3 Stones along the bottom row of the Crafting Table. (3)
• Wooden Slab. IN=Wooden Plank (3) Place 3 Wooden Planks along the bottom row of the Crafting Table. (3)

• Wooden Stairs. IN=Wooden Plank (6) Place 3 Wooden Planks on the left column of the Crafting Table. Then, place 2 Wooden Planks directly to the lower left of the column. Then, place 1 Wooden Plank on the bottom-right corner of the Crafting Table (4)
• Cobblestone Stairs. IN=Cobblestone (6) Place 3 Cobblestone on the left column of the Crafting Table. Then, place 2 Cobblestone directly to the lower left of the column. Then, place 1 Cobblestone on the bottom-right corner of the Crafting Table (4)

Snow Block. IN=Snowball (4) Place Snowballs in a 2×2 square on the Crafting Table. (1)

• Clay Block. IN=Clay (4) Place Clay in a 2×2 square on the Crafting Table. (1)
• Brick Block. IN=Clay Brick (4) Place Clay Bricks (Clay Bricks are different than Clay. To get them, they must be smelted) in a 2×2 square on the Crafting Table. (1)
• Bookshelf. IN=Wooden Plank (6) Book (3) Place the three Books in the middle row of the Crafting Table. Fill the top and bottom rows with the Wooden Planks. (1)
• Sandstone. IN=Sand (4) Place Sand in a 2×2 square on the Crafting Table. (1)
• Jack-O-Lantern. IN=Torch (1) Pumpkin (1) Place a Pumpkin in the middle of the Crafting Table. Place a Torch directly below that. (1)

• Wooden Pickaxe. IN=Wooden Plank (3) Stick (2) Place one Stick in the middle of the Crafting Table. Place another Stick directly below it. Fill the top row with Wooden Planks. (1)
• Stone Pickaxe. IN=Cobblestone (3) Stick (2) Place one Stick in the middle of the Crafting Table. Place another Stick directly below it. Fill the top row with Cobblestone. (1)
• Iron Pickaxe. IN=Iron Ingot (3) Stick (2) Place one Stick in the middle of the Crafting Table. Place another Stick directly below it. Fill the top row with Iron Ingots. (1)

Then, put a Diamond Gem on the upper-left corner of the Crafting Table. Place Diamond Gems directly below and to the left of the Diamond Gem that you just placed. (1)
• Wooden Shovel. IN=Stick (2) Wooden Plank (1) Place a stick in the very middle, then put another one below it. Then, place a Wooden Plank on the top middle of the Crafting Table. (1)
• Stone Shovel. IN=Stick (2) Cobblestone (1) Place a stick in the very middle, then put another one below it. Then, place a Cobblestone on the top middle of the Crafting Table. (1)
