The new official announcement from Microsoft on E3, an Xbox 360 console, refashioned with a set of blood-red Gears of War 3 visuals is set to launch on September 20th. It features 320GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, and the copy of headline game. The bundle will be priced at $400, if you already have an Xbox 360 and want one of those good looking controllers means the expense will be reduced-you will be able to buy the GOW3 control pads for $60 on August 11th. Sonys PS Vita we have already hit you with this news, now we got the hands-on with the new Next generation portable. Its got a 5-inch OLED panel, but the plastics used in its construction makes it lighter than PSP. The Start, Select, and Power buttons flush in the front. The face button is small compared to PSP, but they are firm and comfortable to press. There is a nice floating D-Pad on the left side. It got transparent shoulder buttons dont feel much different than the ones on PSP, and it got iPod-nano like volume buttons. There is also a large port on the bottom for connecting USB and network cables.

Sony is actively working on the developing the next generation gaming console successor to the PS3. R&D budgets have already been allocated for the new gaming console. Masaru Kato, Sonys Chief Financial Officer says that We have a portable, NGP, to be launched later this year, so we have development expenses to be incurred for this product. And for home equipment, the PS3, this still has a product life, but this is a platform business. So for the future platform, when we will be introducing what product I cannot discuss that, but our development work is already underway and the costs are incurred there, he added.

The new report from games pundit says that the Sonys new NGP device is to be named as PlayStation Vita or PS Vita. To eligible for this you had to be a member before April 20th but otherwise it is qualifier free. The PlayStation Store and head to the Welcome Back tab to claim your pair of free games. Everyone also gets a month of PlayStation Plus gratis and there is a selection of On Us movie rentals available over the weekend. There are lot of other more free stuffs available, like 100 free items in PlayStation Home, while Current Plus and Music Unlimited Premium Subscribers get a 60 and 30 day hand-out. Eurogamer reports that the NGP is backward compatible with existing PSP games of downloadable variety only. The site says that it has seen Resistance: Retribution demonstrated on the device, and that all PSP games run through a software emulator that will let you turn up-scaling on or off ratio to suit your preference games also capable of NGPs dual analog sticks. It also promises the cross-device playability.

This week the Inside Xbox episode shows us how it will work with Forza 4, and the Kinect enabled head-tracking appears to run fairly smoothly compared to others we have seen. Sonys Chief Financial Officer stated recently that the upcoming NGP device wont be as investment heavy as previous platforms. Sony wont pour cash onto developing new semiconductors just for its new device, and will opt to build NGP hardware with available components. This can be good competent with the Nintendo 3DS, but it is all quiet on the pricing front at a Sony HQ.

Gearbox Software released a Duke Nukem Forever trailer, they are skeptical about the promised May release date, since DNF has a long gamings answer to Chinese Democracy, and sure enough it got bumped to June 10 (International Release) and June 14 (North America Release). The PSP Remaster series for PlayStation 3 will be porting select portable game titles to the PS3 in high definition Blu-Ray flavor and some with new add-on content plus stereoscopic 3D support. Gamers will also be able to share game save data between the two platforms. Sony and Studios want to charge for what are essentially the same games you already own. We just told you about the Welcome Back package from Sony, now our first indication of when the PlayStation Store will finally return to PS3 and PSP users. According to memo reportedly sent by Sony to its publishing partners and obtained by Gamasutra, the store is set to return on May 24th. They bring it with a backlog of new games and other content that should be released by now, those will be released in stages over the following weeks.
