Acers 7-inch Iconia Tab A100 announced without a firm release date, it went up for pre-order in UK with promised April ship date, delayed due to some Honeycomb compatibility issues. Now finally the device hits the FCC, indicates that can eventual release will at least be closer to the beginning of the second half of the year than the end.

Archos know this device is debuts with high expectations and announced its launch.

The app now introduced can stream content from your set to your smartphone over Wi-Fi and can be used as a controller for games from the Samsung app store. You are limited to either mirroring the content shown on TV or watching an optional second stream from a Sammy branded Blu-ray player. RiTdsiplay has now begins producing a a-Si AMOLED display, according to them developed in conjunction with Ignis Innovation, the 3.5-inch panel was first unveiled at last months SID display week, it beamed images in 320*480 resolution. RiT says its Si AMOLED displays are relatively inexpensive to produce, potentially producing to its LTPS-backplaned brethren. The company just announced the Thrive is the first tablet to hit the US market, with pre-orders beginning in June 13th at Best Buy, along with Office superstores and e-commerce players and got a mid-July ship date. It features 10.1-inch 1280*800 displays, runs Android 3.1, got three sizes: 8GB($429), 16GB($479), and 32GB($579). The other specs are it got Tegra 2 processor and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full-sized USB and HDMI-ports, an SD slot, 2MP front facing camera and 5MP rear one. It got a haptic display and button to lock screen orientation. It also comes with Toshiba branded file manager and Swype pre-installed. Its weighed at 1.6 pounds.

The carrier has now announced that the Gingerbread smartphone will be available in June. The Xperia Play is a bit of hardware lacking in some areas one is the inability to play games over HDMI. The problem for those who are quite ready to devote themselves wholesale to gaming on the very small screen, we had hoped Sony might release a micro-USB to HDMI adapter at same point, and we first saw the image of play pumping graphics above to the HDTV.
