Microsoft demonstrated the Windows 8 this week, and the OS has an interface almost nobody expected for predicted. It looks like the Windows Phone 7 OS. So both your PC and tablet will run Windows 8, but your PC will be able to run your current version of Office or QuickBooks. On the tablet you will have to wait for new, Metro-specific versions to be created. The main reason behind this is the people now started using the tablets than PCs; the plan of them is good. Verizon and Motorola have kept the secret of Droid 3, but the Phonepads got three tutorial videos of Droid 3. It got a 5 row QWERTY slider, no discussion of dual-core session, there is a 8MP camera on board, and its capable of 1080p HD video recording. Other specs are it got volume keys on the right edge, the apparent lack of dedicated camera button, and micro-USB and mini-HDMI on the left edge. These are so called Ultrabooks at Computex 2011; the Lenovos IdeaPad U300S is an ultra-thin, sub-$1,000 notebook game. Lenovo wasnt disclosing exact specs at the show, the company upgraded the slick IdeaPad U260 design with Sandy Bridge chips and a 13.3-inch screen and a trim-uni-body laptop to attain supermodel measurements. Now there is an official announcement from RadioShack that Red HTC Inspire 4G is available for $29.99 on a two-year contract AT&T (or $550 off the contract). The Sonys new S2 tablet headed to USA now, FCC got a glimpse at Sir Howards dual-screen honeycomb tablet. It got some crucial specs: Sonys SGPT 211US features 2.4 GHz, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 850MHz and 1900 MHz 3G bands launching at AT&T. The 3G speeds represented will hit you on the 21Mbps HSPA+ speeds. It got 3080 mAh lithium-ion battery as well.

The Creative designed a new multi-core audio and voice processor called Core3D. The external device and an integrated chip on Creatives vendor devices can also include consumer electronics. The chip is based on a 56-pin QFP package. The Sound Core 3D chip uses four cores, 4 and 6-channel audio 24-bit DACs and a headphone amplifier output. There is support for usual digital outputs as well as a digital microphone in. It also has enhancements for echo cancellation, noise reduction, and normalization of audio.

Huawei seems to be latest to enter the tablet market. It is launching its new tablet called MediaPad. They noted it as Next Generation Smart Device, and Smallest and Lightest tablet released in history. But what we assume from them is the tablet may be running Android honeycomb, and sports a 7-inch screen. We will hope to get more news update to that stay tuned with us.

The Notion Ink Adam tablet is once again on sale. The Adam is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 250 Processor with dual core Cortex A9, allows it to play 1080p video on HDTV via HDMI port. The tablet is low power consuming 1024*600 display, Optional Pixel Qi can be viewed under direct sunlight. It also features 3.2Mp camera, can capture 720p HD video, Wi-Fi, 3G. Eee Pad Transformer already scored itself with a upgrade of Android 3.1 and a USB host support. The transformer keyboard has a pair of 2.0 jacks and someone was kind to post a YouTube video of a PS3 controller and the ASUS tablet getting their game on. Acers 7-inch Iconia Tab A100 announced without a firm release date, it went up for pre-order in UK with promised April ship date, delayed due to some Honeycomb compatibility issues. Now finally the device hits the FCC, indicates that can eventual release will at least be closer to the beginning of the second half of the year than the end.

Archos just announced that it will unveil its new Generation 9 honeycomb tablets at a Paris event, on June 23rd. The tablet is originally expected to launch on September IFA trade show, but the date was pushed up now. It got 1.6GHz ARM A9 dual-core chip and called as revolutionary 3G modem in just few weeks. Archos know this device is debuts with high expectations and announced its launch.

Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha talks to business strategy, the advantages of Android, and ti take developers to taks poorly optimized apps. At this interview Jha pointed out and blamed the poor battery life which he said he can sap between 30 to 40 percent of phones juice. The company had a solution for this and named it as Blur. Dr.Jha said MotoBlur allows us to know, with precision, what battery life you are seeing, before suggesting the future phones could warn about the power draining apps and bandwidth hogs.

The tweakers.net ran prototype Compal unit, to suit the tests with Honeycomb and tablets dual-core 1.5GHz can compare to Tegra 2. Then the answer is no, or can be said as really not well. On the benchmarks Caffeinemark, Linpak, and Quadrant the platform was largely left in dust by ARM competition with bigger biceps, but the Oak Trail did clean the floor with everyone else on SunSpider browser benchmark. What does all these benchmarks means?, Its far too early drawing performance conclusions about a platform based on a prototype and we had doubts that these benchmarks apps are optimized for the new platform.

The app now introduced can stream content from your set to your smartphone over Wi-Fi and can be used as a controller for games from the Samsung app store. You are limited to either mirroring the content shown on TV or watching an optional second stream from a Sammy branded Blu-ray player.
