Microsoft demonstrated the Windows 8 this week, and the OS has an interface almost nobody expected for predicted. It looks like the Windows Phone 7 OS. So both your PC and tablet will run Windows 8, but your PC will be able to run your current version of Office or QuickBooks. On the tablet you will have to wait for new, Metro-specific versions to be created. The main reason behind this is the people now started using the tablets than PCs; the plan of them is good. The Microsofts clueless about the future of touch computing proved by the companys latest demo.
