Adobe Updates Flash Player To Patch 23 Security Flaws

Adobe has released a new update for its Flash Player to patch critical vulnerabilities that could allow attackers to install malware on computers. This new update fixes 23 security flaws of which 18 can potentially be exploited to execute malicious code on the underlying systems. Adobe is not aware of any exploits being publicly available for the fixed vulnerabilities.

AVG has updated its privacy policy of its free antivirus software saying that it can make money by selling your non-personal data to advertisers. These non-personal data includes your browsing and search history, your device’s brand, language and apps in use, among other things. The new privacy policy comes into effect on 15 October 2015.

New Horizons has collected tens of gigabits of data from its Pluto flyby and stored them on its digital recorders. Today, NASA started the process of downlink the data from the spacecraft. Due to the distance and the volume of data, it will take about one year to complete the downlink.
