Asus Announces New Windows 10 PCs – ZenBook 3, Transformer 3, Transformer 3 Pro & Transformer Mini

Today, Asus has announced four new Windows 10 PCs: ZenBook 3, Transformer 3 Pro, Transformer 3, and Transformer Mini, ahead of Computex 2016. These new PC’s bring all the goodness of Windows 10 like Cortana – a personal digital assistant, as well as the ability to sign into the device with Windows Hello, by way of a built-in fingerprint reader or built-in camera.

ASUS ZenBook 3

ASUS ZenBook series is an ultra-thin laptop models, and the latest in the series the ZenBook 3 is less than half an inch thin (.47 inches), a thin bezel, which according to Asus is 18% thinner than MacBook and weighs only 2.0 lbs. According to ASUS, the ZenBook 3 provides up to nine hours of battery on regular usage and comes with Fast Charge technology that could charge your battery up to 60% capacity in just 49 minutes. The ZenBook 3 will be available in Q3 this summer with a starting price tag of $999 USD and comes in three colors – Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Grey.

ASUS Transformer 3 Pro

The Asus Transformer 3 Pro tablet / laptop are aimed for professionals and are only .32 inches thin and weighs 1.76 lbs. It comes with a keyboard, so users can have a choice of using it as either a laptop or a tablet. The Active Pen that comes with Transformer 3 Pro will enable people to better use Windows Ink, which will come in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update this summer. The Transformer 3 Pro will be available in Q3 this summer with a starting price tag of $999 USD.

ASUS Transformer 3

The ASUS Transformer 3 (T305CA) is an ultra-slim 2-in-1 PC aimed at casual users and comes with a detachable ASUS Transformer Sleeve backlit keyboard. It is extremely light and thin. Weighing only 1.54 pounds and with a thickness of 0.27 inches. The Transformer 3will be available in Q3 this summer with a starting price tag of $799 USD and comes Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray color options. The detachable ASUS Transformer Sleeve keyboard will be available in four colors – Stone, Charcoal, Taupe, and Amber.

ASUS Transformer Mini

As the name suggests it is the lesser and smaller version of Transformer 3. The Transformer Mini is a new in the series and is 10.1 inch 2-in-1 detachable PC with a smart hinge kickstand design, making it a good Windows 10 tablet that can also serve as a netbook. Apart from that, do not expect it to replace your main laptop. The Transformer Mini will be available in Q3 this summer, but unfortunately, ASUS has not provided any price details for it.
