Google has announced that a new update is rolling out to its Android Gmail app to support users using dual delivery mail flow or calendars with Microsoft Exchange.

The support for Microsoft Exchange mail accounts is one of the most requested feature in Android Gmail and this update allows users to use their Android smart phones and tablets to be able to check their mail.

The new features will be available via both Rapid and Scheduled release and is currently in the process of a gradual roll out. In other words the update will take 3 or more days to be available for everyone.

The Android Gmail app is getting an update to support users using dual delivery mail flow or calendars with Microsoft Exchange. Now, whether you’re on Google Apps or Exchange, you can use the Gmail app on any Android device to send and receive mail.
