Sony Xperia Z Devices Will Get Android 5.0 Lollipop

Sony has officially announced that they will be making the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade available for the entire Xperia Z devices including Smartphones, tablets, and Google edition devices.

The upgrade will be beginning of 2015 for Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series and continues to the devices that were listed below.

The upgrade available for the entire premium Xperia Z series: including Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition devices will be first one to get; we will be back with the actual dates of that soon.

Android 5.0 Lollipop may become one of the best upgrades ever released for smartphones, as it comes with a whole new Material Design UI adding a more smoother interface, more responsive operating system, new visual elements, Notifications menu major tweaks, Private Mode, battery saving feature, security improvements, Android Smart Lock, Device Sharing capabilities with Guest User support and more other features.
