Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play the play station phone (PSP), finally we got the photos of the device. The design of the phone looks very nice. The Phone will be coming in the name of Xperia Play. Sony Ericsson has finally confirmed the new addition to the Xperia family.

What we are expecting is Xperia X12/Anzu and Xperia Play is the two devices. The specification of Xperia Play seems to be 1GHz Snapdragon Processor and Qualcomm Adreno 205 graphics processor, 4-inch touch screen capable of resolution, 854×480 pixels. It comes with a 5 mega pixel camera. The phone will be having 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM capable of recording 720p HD video, so we can get 800×480 as the best and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread edition. The Phone is a sliding device with PlayStation controls and a joystick. The Phone will have an additional mic on the back to active noise cancellation. The PSP mobile apps will be PlayStation Pocket. There is a proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

The Connectivity through GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3G, and USB are possible. According to the sources, it will be coming with Facebook and Twitter integration. The MP3 and MP4 players will be available separately supporting MP4/ H.263/H.264/ WMV player and MP3/ eACC+/ WMA / WMV player. All the specifications of Xperia Play seem to be fine, and we had to wait until their official announcement.
