Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Release Date Delayed

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge release date and pricing details has been revealed by Samsung a few days back. We already reported Galaxy Note Edge is a limited edition model.

A few days back it was confirmed by Japanese carrier KDDI that the Galaxy Note Edge will be released towards the end of October in Japan. Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo further released the price details of the device. The base model of Galaxy Note Edge has been priced at 93,312 yen which is almost equal to $875 USD.

Japanese price details do not confirm the pricing of the Galaxy Note Edge in the US and it is possible that it will cost somewhat more than its flat screened counterpart that was released almost two weeks ago. All the major US carriers have confirmed the Galaxy Note Edge release but have not revealed any other significant information.

Before any device hit the stores, it is necessary to get an FCC approval for the device and last week the Sprint Galaxy Note Edge was caught being passed through the FCC process. AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have all got FCC certifications for the Galaxy Note Edge. Verizon is the only carrier which is yet to receive the FCC approval.

Apart from the release date delay in the U.S, the October release date could be delayed in United Kingdom, China, Australia, Canada, Korea, Russia and even Japan.
