Samsung is working on several tablets, which it intends to release on 2015 and Intel processor powers one of these tablets. This tablet was spotted on GeekBench with a codename Samsung Chopin LTE.

ARM-based processors have typically powered the Samsung’s tablets, so an Intel based tablet from Samsung comes as a pleasant surprise. The Samsung Chopin tablet features a quad-core 2.24 GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor and will have 4 GB RAM. It will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Geekbench awards it a single-core score of 1005 and a multi-core score of 3426.

There are not much information available right now, but based on the processor and RAM it seems like a high-end tablet that is currently in the pipeline at Samsung, or it could merely be a prototype that the company is testing which never sees the light of day.
