The Eee PC 1001PXD, 1011PX and 1015PX are about to get the Ubuntu configurations. The famous netbook line running Xandros, these Ubuntu loaded machines could help Linux to reach a larger audience. The app now introduced can stream content from your set to your smartphone over Wi-Fi and can be used as a controller for games from the Samsung app store. Eurogamer reports that the NGP is backward compatible with existing PSP games of downloadable variety only. The site says that it has seen Resistance: Retribution demonstrated on the device, and that all PSP games run through a software emulator that will let you turn up-scaling on or off ratio to suit your preference games also capable of NGPs dual analog sticks. It also promises the cross-device playability.

RiTdsiplay has now begins producing a a-Si AMOLED display, according to them developed in conjunction with Ignis Innovation, the 3.5-inch panel was first unveiled at last months SID display week, it beamed images in 320*480 resolution. The company just announced the Thrive is the first tablet to hit the US market, with pre-orders beginning in June 13th at Best Buy, along with Office superstores and e-commerce players and got a mid-July ship date. It features 10.1-inch 1280*800 displays, runs Android 3.1, got three sizes: 8GB($429), 16GB($479), and 32GB($579). The other specs are it got Tegra 2 processor and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full-sized USB and HDMI-ports, an SD slot, 2MP front facing camera and 5MP rear one. It got a haptic display and button to lock screen orientation. It also comes with Toshiba branded file manager and Swype pre-installed. Its weighed at 1.6 pounds.
The carrier has now announced that the Gingerbread smartphone will be available in June. The Exhibit will join Samsungs Gravity Smart, both features grounded sub $100 price tags when they hit the stores. T-Mobile displays the Exhibit with violet and black finishes and says it got theoretical peek download speeds of 21Mbps on the HSPA+ device. The Xperia Play is a bit of hardware lacking in some areas one is the inability to play games over HDMI. The problem for those who are quite ready to devote themselves wholesale to gaming on the very small screen, we had hoped Sony might release a micro-USB to HDMI adapter at same point, and we first saw the image of play pumping graphics above to the HDTV.
