Microsoft ReFS File System With Windows Server 8

In the latest post from Building Windows 8, Steven Sinofsky introduces the Resilient File System or ReFS, as a next generation file system, built on foundations of the NTFS. By reusing NTFS API / semantics engine, it hopes to retain a high level of compatibility with NTFS features. Underneath the existing semantics engine, the new file system needs the new storage engine that hopes to protect against latent disk errors, resist data corruption, uphold metadata integrity, great large volume, file and directory size and build a battery storage system in general.

Fujitsu M532 Tablets Head In Video

The TechFokus got its hands on a Tegra 3 tablet from the Japanese Manufacturer that supposedly to launch in May. It got NVIDIA processor, will come with an equipped HD (1280*800) display, 16GB on-board storage, front camera with 3MP and rear camera with 8MP. Numark Outs New 4Trak DJ Controller

Numark outs its new Traktor-specific 4Trak DJ Controller a few days before the show. Its N6 and N7 Serato-flavored devices have been well received, so its no surprise the DJ stalwart made one for the other dominant mixing software. On the board there is a four channel mixer, four-deck control, touch-strip track search, high-resolution platters and a veritable flight deck of 1:1 hardware / software controls. The titled section up the top its actually a separate clamp on FX Kommand Console that comes bundled in the box; an unusual, yet welcome variation. Speaking with the Microsoft representative in the Microsoft CES booth holding a Microsoft microphone, VP of products for Microsoft-owned Skype, Rick Osterloh, made a mention of VoIP services plans to make its way onto Microsofts mobile operating system. Notion Ink Releases ICS Alpha Update, Teases New Device

Notion Ink releases an ICS alpha update for your Adam table. Its only the alpha build, so not everything is working just yet that would be the camera, 3G, USB storage and flash drive, and the light sensor. The upgrade shown in the video is yours for the taking. This is not all Notion Ink is up to though, its also teased a new device on its blog which it claims has been built almost entirely in-house this time round. Since then the library has expanded to over 75,000 titles with over 295,000 people borrows an independently published KDP e-tome in December alone. Sprint Remains Tepid On Windows Phone At CES

Sprint had a Windows Phone currently in its lineup, but remains decidedly unenthusiastic about the platform as a whole. The PCMag reports that Sprint David Owens said that the carrier is willing to train its reps on Windows Phone, but that Microsoft has to build the enthusiasm for the product, adds that the number-one reason the product was returned was the user experience. Sprints Director of Product Development, Lois Fagan, adds that the carrier remains cautiously optimistic, but that Windows Phone just has not taken off. Owens also confirmed that the Sprint would expectedly now be focusing on all of its intention on its new LTE network, and not produce any WiMAX-based phones.
