TI has the hots for Arduino, its latest wireless charging kit isnt quite ready for mass production. It promises to do away with those cumbersome specialized sleeves and back covers that are currently needed for inductive charging. It will deliver efficient in a package that is small enough to be installed as a part of devices internal circuitry. In addition to Qi Standard 5W version, the company is also working on 10 W variant for iPad 2 and other tablets, which could wipe the smile off LaunchPorts face and make micro USB 3.0 superfluous before it even gets here.
