Nokia Solar Charging, Still Not Viable

Nokia finishes its project to see worth jamming solar panels in cell phones. A customized C1-02 was tested in Artic Circle, Sweden, Kenya, and on the Baltic Sea. Due to the size of the device, the prototypes could not collect enough energy properly recharge battery in most scenarios. There are too many variables such as lifestyle and region that influence effectiveness of solar-powered phone, depending on those conditions, a solar phone could range anywhere between useful, to being useless.
