i3D App Brings Glasses-Free 3D To iOS
i3D is a new app can create glasses-free 3D display on iDevices, using a technology called HCP (Head Coupled Perspective). Developed from Engineering Human-Computer Interaction (ECHI) Research Group, HCP uses front facing camera to track movements of users head, allows the app to adjust the display. The result is a monocular 3D screen that creates the illusion of looking into a box. i3D is now available for free in iTunes Store and runs on iPad2, iPhone4 and fourth generation iPod Touch.
