How To Use Message Options On Sony Xperia Tablet Z

Learn how to use Message options on your Sony Xperia Tablet Z. You can change options for the Text messages and multimedia messages and view messages in SIM Card.

To change your message notification settings

• From your Home screen, tap Apps icon, then find and tap Messaging icon.
• Tap Menu icon, then tap Settings.
• To set a notification sound, tap Notification tone and select an option.
• For other notification settings, check or uncheck the relevant checkboxes.

To activate delivery reporting for outgoing messages

• From your Home screen, tap Apps icon, then find and tap Messaging icon.
• Tap Menu icon, then tap Settings > Notification settings.
• Mark the Delivery report checkbox.

To view messages saved on the SIM card

• From your Home screen, tap Apps icon, then find and tap Messaging icon.
• Tap Menu icon, then tap Settings > SIM messages.
