If an default app is crashing, here are some common steps you can follow,

      Check For Updates
Goto Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update

      (Or)
      Clear Cache
Goto Settings -> Applications -> Manage Apps -> Click on App -> Clear Cache

      (Or)
      Factory Reset
This is the last resort, you have to reset your android device to the Factory Settings.

If none of them works, then there is not much we can do.
