Learn how to use alarm clock on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4. This feature allows you to set an alarm to ring at a specific time.

Create an Alarm

Create an alarm event. You can set one-time or recurring alarms, and choose options for how to be notified.

  • From Home screen, tap Apps icon > Clock.
  • Tap Add icon to configure:
    • Time: Choose a time for the alarm.
    • Days: Choose the days to use this alarm.
    • Repeat weekly: When enabled, the alarm repeats every week.
    • Alarm type: Choose whether the alarm will muse sound, vibration, or vibration and sound to alert you.
    • Alarm tone: If you have chosen an alarm type that includes sound, choose a sound to play for the alarm.
    • Volume: If you have chosen an alarm type that includes sound, drag the slider to set the volume of the alarm.
    • Snooze: Set the time limit for the snooze button.
    • Smart alarm: When on, the alarm will start playing a tone at a low volume at an interval before the alarm time, and slowly increase in volume. Choose a time interval and a tone to use with smart alarm. Available when you have chosen an alarm type that includes sound.
    • Name: Enter a name for the alarm.
  • Tap Save.

Delete an Alarm

  • From a Home screen, tap Apps icon > Clock.
  • Touch and hold an alarm, and then tap Delete icon.

Clock App

The Clock app offers features for keeping track of time and setting alarms.

  • From Home screen, tap Apps icon > Clock.
  • Tap a tab to use a feature:

World clock:

View the time of day or night in other parts of the world. World Clock displays time in hundreds of different cities, within all 24 time zones around the world.

  • On the All apps screen, tap Clock > World clock.

Creating clocks

  • Tap + and enter a city name or select from the cities list or globe.

Deleting clocks

  • Tap Menu icon > Select, select clocks, and then tap Delete.

Stopwatch

Measure intervals of time.

  • On the All apps screen, tap Clock > Stop watch.
  • Tap Start to time an event. To record lap times while timing an event, tap Lap.
  • Tap Stop to stop timing. To clear lap times, tap Reset. To restart the timing, tap Resume.

Timer

Use a timer to count down to an event based on a preset time length (hours, minutes, and seconds).

  • On the All apps screen, tap Clock > Timer.
  • Set the duration, and then tap Start.
  • Drag? icon outside the large circle when the timer goes off.
