If you own an Apple Watch and want to share a screenshot of your Watch with your friends, you can do it easily.

Taking a screenshot on your Apple Watch is similar to the iPhone. One thing you have to know is that the Side button acts like the power button and the Digital crown acts like the Home button.

To take a screenshot,

  • You have to press the Side button and the Digital Crown button simultaneously until the screen flashes and it will take the screenshot.
  • If you find it difficult, you can also press and hold the Side button and then without releasing the Side button, press the Digital Crown. You have to do it fast; otherwise, the Side button will show the power menu.

Unlike the iPhone however, the screenshots are not accessible directly on the Apple Watch. They are synced to the camera roll on the iPhone, so you can find them under the Camera Roll or under All Photos if you are using iCloud Photo Library in the Photos app on your iPhone.
