Learn how to organize photos and videos on your HTC One.

Showing or hiding albums

Have too many albums cluttering up Gallery? You can choose to show or hide albums.

• In Gallery, tap My photos.
• Tap view down faced triangle icon > Albums.
• Tap Menu icon > Show/hide albums and choose which albums you’d like to show or hide.

Copying or moving a photo or video to another album

• In Gallery, tap My photos.
• Go to the album that has the photo or video you want to copy or move.
• Press and hold the photo or video.
• Choose whether to move or copy the photo or video and then select the destination album.

How to rename an album on HTC One

If you have created albums to organize photos, you can rename these albums.

• In the Gallery app’s Albums view, press and hold the album that you want to rename.
• Tap Rename.

Note: Some albums, like Camera shots and All photos, cannot be renamed.

How to work with event photos on HTC One

Photos and videos that you captured using HTC One are grouped together in Events view according to the date they were taken. You can combine photos from two events. You can also move photos from an event into a new or existing event.

• In the Gallery app’s Events view, press and hold the event that you want to split or combine.
• Do one of the following:
  • Tap Merge to and then select another event to combine the two events.
  • Tap Split to and then select the pictures or videos in the event you want to split to another event. Tap Split and then tap an existing event as the destination, or tap + add icon to create a new event as the destination.
