How To Backup And Restore – Huawei Ascend Mate

Learn how to backup and restore on your Huawei Ascend Mate. Backup lets you back up your important data and restore them after a system upgrade or reset.

Backing up data to local storage

On the home screen, touch Management >Backup icon.

• Touch Back up to SD card.

• Select the data you wish to back up.

• Touch Backup.

• Enter a password when prompted.

• Touch Backup.

By default, backup files are saved to the HuaweiBackup folder in File Manager.

Restoring data from local storage

• On the home screen, touch Management > Backup icon.

• Touch Restore from SD card.

• From the backups file list, choose the file you wish to restore.

• Enter the backup password.

• Touch OK.

• Touch Restore.
