Sharp AQUOS Crystal X Is Another Edgeless Android Smartphone
Sharp has a new, upgraded version of the AQUOS Crystal. Called AQUOS Crystal X, the new smartphone was announced in Japan, where pre-orders for it should start through SoftBank.
The AQUOS Crystal X can be considered a high-end one. It features a 5.5-inch screen with 1080*1920 pixels, VoLTE, Harman Kardon sound, quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, and a 2610 mAh battery. On the back, the handset has a 13 MP camera with LED flash, while on the front we can see a 1.2 MP camera.
Since it measures 139*73*11 mm, the AQUOS Crystal X is definitely more compact than most (if not all) of the other 5.5-inch smartphones out there. The AQUOS Crystal X runs Android KitKat, and will be available in three color versions: black, white, and pink. Sharp didn't say if it's planning to release the new handset in the US.
