Samsung Galaxy S5 May Sport 16MP Camera - Sample Image Leaked

Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a 16 megapixel rear camera. The sample photo was taken on the Samsung SM-G900V, according to @evleaks. It works on the new QHD AMOLED SmartPhone display that will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Galaxy S5 got 5.25 inches and 2K display. The device includes 64-bit Octa-core Exynos processor.

According to the various sources, it may sport 21 MP camera for test reveals. Both Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 sport a 13 megepixel camera, 16 megapixel camera on the Samsung Galaxy S5 would have more resolution, which allows the camera to retain more details from the resulting shot.

The photo has 16:9 aspect ratio, though photo sensors in phones come with 4:3 aspect ratio. Thus the highest resolution 16:9 shot you can take is actually lower-res than the absolute highest-res photo you can shoot. For a 16:9 shot like this one, the full width of the sensor is used, but not its full height. If we calculate what a 4:3 sensors resolution would have to be in order to output a 16:9 photo with 5,3122,988 resolution, we arrive at around 21.2 MP.

We expected that the Samsung Galaxy S5 release on either in March or April. The Samsung Galaxy will come to all major carriers.
