Samsung has unveiled it next smartphone in the Galaxy S line-up, a brand new Galaxy Pro smartphone for the masses with physical QWERTY keyboard. This device will run on Android 2.2 aka Android Froyo. It was reported that the Galaxy S Pro will be Google experience device and will not have the Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz UI. This will be the firstcandy-bar QWERTY phone From Samsung in the Galaxy S line-up.
This new phone will feature a 2.8 inch capacitive multi-touch display, 800MHz processor, 3MP camera, WiFI and Samsung’s Social Hub premium. From the features one can guess that it will be a mid-range smartphone and will go up against the like of BlackBerry 8520, Nokia E5, Motorola Charm.
The speculated price of the device will be around $300 – $350.
