Learn how to use S Memo on your Samsung Galaxy Mega. The S Memo application allows you to create memos using the keypad, your finger, or both. You can add images, voice recordings, and text all in one place.

Creating a New Memo

  • From the Home screen, tap App > S Memo.

  • Tap an existing Memo to open it then tap the screen to enter edit mode.

  • Tap Add to start a new memo in text mode with the keypad displayed or tap to start a new memo in drawing mode using your finger or a compatible on-screen writing tool. You can change back and forth in a memo to add text with the keypad and the pen.

  • The icons that you see displayed on the screen are described in the following table:

  • View icon Changes the view mode.

  • Free-format icon Allows you to add free-format drawing.

  • Pen icon Allows you to draw with a stylus or your finger. Tap again to access the Pen settings.

  • Add icon Displays the keypad to you can add text.

  • Eraser icon Eraser tool allows you to erase marks and drawings.

  • Undo icon Undo the last action.

  • Redo icon Redo the last action that was undone.

  • Record icon Make a voice recording to add to the memo. This option is not available in free-format drawing mode.

  • Hide icon Hide the additional text options.

  • Show icon Show the additional text options.

  • Bar icon Provides access to a quick selection bar. Choose from: Take picture, Images, Clipboard, Maps, and Clip art. These elements can be used within the memo. Add an additional page to the memo.

  • When you are finished creating your memo, tap Save on the top menu bar.

  • Press Menu to access additional options.
