How To Use Mobile Data Connection – Huawei Ascend P7

Turning on your mobile network

• On the home screen, touch Settings icon.
• Under All, touch Mobile networks.
• Select the Data enabled check box.

Creating an APN

The Access Point Name (APN) is a necessary parameter for a phone to connect to a mobile network or send multimedia messages. It is usually automatically set after you insert a SIM card into your phone. If your phone can’t connect to a mobile network using the automatically set APN, contact your service provider for the specific parameters and create a new APN.

• On the home screen, touch Settings icon.
• Under All, touch Mobile networks.
• Touch Access Point Names.
• Touch Menu icon > New APN.
• Enter the access point name and other parameters.
• Touch SAVE.
