Learn how to use application folders on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. The applications in this section are described alphabetically as they appear on the Apps screen. Also, for your convenience, there are several applications that are grouped into folders on the main Home screen.

The following Home screen folders contain the indicated applications:

  • Samsung Clock: Alarm, Calculator, Memo, S Voice, and World Clock.
  • Google: Gmail, Google+, Play Music, Play Movies & TV, Play Books, Play Newsstand, Play Games, Drive, YouTube, Photos, and Hangouts.

Accessing Applications

To access applications:

  • From a Home screen, touch Apps icon.
  • Locate the applications icon and touch it to launch the application.
  • To return to the main Home screen, touch Home Button.

Note: This manual only addresses applications that have been loaded on your device as of the date of purchase. Information concerning third party applications that you may choose to download from the Google Play Store or otherwise should be obtained from the application provider directly and not from Samsung.

Note

This guide will work on all Samsung Galaxy Tabs; including Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
