How To Use Accessory Settings – Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

Learn how to use accessory settings on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. To select the Audio output mode when using a car or desk dock:

• From the Settings screen, touch General > Accessories. The following options display:

DOCK

• Dock sound: Play sounds when inserting or removing the phone from the dock.
• Audio output mode: Use the external dock speakers when the phone is docked.

BOOK COVER

• Automatic unlock: Set this option If you are using a phone cover and you want your phone to unlock when you open the cover.

This guide will work on all Samsung Galaxy Tabs; including Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
