Learn how to customize messages options on your HTC One Max.

Resuming a draft message

Open a draft message right from the Messages screen, edit the message, and then tap Send Message icon .

Note: To see all draft messages in one place, tap Menu icon on the Messages screen, and then tap Drafts.

Replying to a message

  • On the Messages screen, tap a contact (or phone number) to display the exchange of messages with that contact.

  • Tap the box that says Add text, and then enter your message.

  • Tap Send Message icon.

Replying to a contact’s other phone number

When a contact has multiple phone numbers stored on HTC One max, you can select which phone number to reply to.

Keep in mind that your response will be sent to the phone number of the latest message youve received from this contact.

  • On the Messages screen, tap a contact (or phone number) to display the exchange of messages with that contact.

  • Tap View > Open contact.

  • If you have recently received or sent a message to the contact, tap View iconand select which phone number you want to reply to.

  • On the Details tab, tap Send message icon next to the phone number you want to reply to.

  • Tap the box that says Add text, then enter your reply message.

  • Tap Send message icon.

Saving a text message in the Tasks app

Save a text message in your Tasks list so you can remind yourself when to reply.

  • On the Messages screen, tap a contact (or phone number) to display the exchange of messages with that contact.

  • Tap the message you want to save, and then tap Save as task.

  • Enter other details or change the task title.

  • Tap Save.

Forwarding a message

  • On the Messages screen, tap a contact (or phone number) to view the exchange of messages with that contact.

  • Tap a message, and then tap Forward.

  • In the To field, fill in one or more recipients.

  • Tap Send message icon.
