Bing Maps To Get Nokia Branding

Nokia front man Stephen Elop let it be known that his company moniker will be making its way to Bing maps in the near future. The pocket lint interviewed him at CES; he explained that any property utilizes Microsoft Bing Maps services including mobile platforms will be co-branded with Nokia logo. We are clearly placing a bet on Windows Phone Platform; they are placing a bet on our location based platform, he said. The CEO cited Blackberry as a non-Windows Phone device that will see the Nokia tattoo in its Map app. RIM recently announced its intention to integrate Bing Maps at OS level.
