ASUS Eee Pad Slider Making The Jump From Tegra 2 To Atom Z670?

This is what we heard; ASUS Eee Pad Slider would pack a Tegra 2 processor just like the Eee Pad Transformer. There is now some pretty strong evidence is it might not be the case, with Intel letting slip that the Slider would actually pack its brand new Atom Z670 processor instead of NVIDIAs one. The Intels press page following the announcement for the new Atom processor, its since been removed suggesting that it was either a colossal mistake or a reveal that was a bit premature for ASUS liking.
