Update the PS Vita

Updating your PS Vita firmware is simple; it provides the latest security patches, new features, and other goodies to keep your device fresh and exciting.

Follow the simple steps to update the PS Vita firmware (Via Wi-Fi)

Make sure your PS Vita is connected to the internet.

Press the ‘Settings’ icon from your home screen. Tap ‘Start’.

Tap the ‘System Update’ from the menu.

Tap ‘Update Using Wi-Fi’and follow the onscreen instructions. As you can see, you can also download the latest software using your PS3 or computer.

Note: Do not remove the memory card or turn off the power during updating.
