HTC breaks its own sales and profit records, keeps Thunderbolt smartphone wave to success
There is a spectacular record break from HTC. The once-small Taiwanese phone maker reports its net income for the first quarter of 2011 nearly tripled earnings in the same period of 2010, and now totalling an impressive $513 million. The success is predictably of demand for Android smartphones and higher speed internet connectivity (as they provides both Thunderbolt and EVO 4G). We all now know why the stock makers love HTC; the company just cant stop growing.
