How To Use Weather App – Huawei Ascend P7

Learn how to use weather app on your Huawei Ascend P7. Weather provides you with the latest weather information for any city around the world. You can share weather information with your family and friends.

Note: Before you use Weather, turn on your phone’s GPS and data service.

Adding a city

Add cities to check their real-time weather information.

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.
• Touch List icon > + icon.
• Enter a city name. Matching cities are then displayed.
• Select the city you want to add.

Note: In addition to your current city, you can add up to nine cities.

Setting the default city

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.
• Touch List icon.
• Touch Home Key to the right of the city you want to set as the default city.

Note: To rearrange the cities, in the city list, touch Menu icon > Rearrange cities.

Deleting a city

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.
• Touch List icon > Delete icon.
• Select the city you want to delete, and touch DELETE.

Updating the weather

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.
• Flick left or right to find the city whose weather you want to update.
• Touch Update icon to update the weather.

Note: You can also set Weather to automatic update mode. Touch List icon > Menu icon > Settings, select Auto update, and set Update interval. Your phone will then update the weather at the interval you set.

Sharing weather information

Your phone lets you send weather information as a text message to remind your family and friends of weather changes.

• On the home screen, touch Tools > Weather icon.
• Flick left or right to find the city whose weather you want to share.
• Touch Share icon to display the messaging screen.
• Touch the recipient text box and enter the contact name or phone number. Matching contacts are displayed as you type. Touch to select a contact.

Note: Touch + icon to select more contacts.

• Touch Send to send the weather information.
