How To Use Gallery – Huawei Ascend Mate

Learn how to use gallery on your Huawei Ascend Mate. Gallery is your personal treasure box of sweet memories.

Viewing photos or videos

In your Gallery, photos and videos are stored in separate albums.

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch the album you wish to view.

• Touch the photo or video to view it in full screen mode.

When viewing a photo, pinch two fingers together to zoom out or spread them apart to zoom in.

Playing a slideshow

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch an album.

• Touch Play icon to play photos in the album as a slideshow.

• Touch the screen to stop the slideshow.

Editing a photo

You can remove red eye, crop a photo, or apply a number of effects to make your photos even more stunning.

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch the photo you wish to edit.

• Touch Menu > Edit and then you can:

• Touch Shadow icon to lighten or shadow the photo.

• Touch FX to cross-process or posterize the photo.

• Touch Negative icon to tint the photo or make it negative.

• Touch Crop icon to rotate or crop the photo.

• Touch SAVE.

Rotating a photo

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch the photo you wish to rotate.

• Touch Menu > Rotate Left or Rotate Right.

You can also enable the auto-rotate screen function to have your phone automatically adjust the display orientation when you rotate your phone.

Cropping a photo

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch the photo you wish to crop.

• Touch Menu > Crop and then you can:

• Drag the grid to reposition it.

• Drag the frames of the grid to resize it.

• Touch SAVE.

Deleting a photo

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch the photo you wish to delete.

• Touch Delete icon.

• Touch OK.

Sharing a photo or video

Want to share your best shots or an amusing trick your dog just did? Simply share the photos and videos using email, Bluetooth, and more.

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Touch the photo or video you wish to share.

• Touch Share icon.

• Choose a sharing method and follow the onscreen instructions.

Setting a photo as the wallpaper

• On the home screen, touch Gallery icon.

• Choose the photo you wish to set as the wallpaper.

• Touch Menu > Set picture as > Wallpaper.

• Drag the frames of the grid to resize it.

• Touch SAVE
