Learn how to use call log on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The numbers of the calls you have dialed, received, or missed are stored in the Call log.

  • From a Home screen, tap Phone icon.
  • Tap the Logs tab. A list of recent calls is displayed. If the caller is in your contacts list, their name is displayed.

Save a Recent Call to Your Contacts List

  • From a Home screen, tap Phone icon > Logs tab.
  • Tap the call you want to save add to your contacts list.
  • Tap Create contact.

If you want to replace the number for an existing contact, tap Update existing.

Delete a Call from the Call Log

  • From a Home screen, tap Phone icon > Logs tab.
  • Touch and hold the call you want to delete from the Call log.

Tap Delete icon.

Add a Call to the Reject List

By adding a caller to your Reject list, future calls from this number will be sent directly to your voicemail.

  • From a Home screen, tap Phone icon > Logs tab.
  • Touch and hold the caller you want to add to the Reject list.
  • Tab More options > Add to Auto reject list.

Make a Call Using Speed Dial

You can assign a shortcut number for a contact to speed dial their default number. For more information to make a call, Refer How To Make A call.

  • To make a call using Speed Dial, tap Phone > Keypad.
  • Touch and hold the speed dial number,If the speed dial number is longer than one digit, enter the first digit(s), and then hold the last digit.

Assign a Speed Dial Number

  • From a Home screen, tap Apps icon > Contacts.
  • Tap More option > speed dial.The Speed dial screen displays showing the numbers 1 through 100 (Number 1 is reserved for voicemail).
  • Tap an unused number. A list of contacts displays. Tap a contact to assign to the number. The selected contact displays in the speed dial number box.

To remove a Speed Dial number assignment:

  • Tap Delete icon.
