Adverts are the scourge of the smartphone user, but if you have a rooted device you can say goodbye to them once and for all. The one thing which you may have noticed though, is that certain apps and indeed certain websites are awash with pesky ads which, let’s be fair, no one ever clicks on unless it’s by mistake. But if your device is rooted you can take steps to rid yourself of these ads and concentrate on what matters: content. Follow these simple steps below for an ad-free future.
- Grab your Samsung Galaxy S3.
- Open up Google Play.’
- Search for AdFree Android’.
- Install the app.
- Once it has finished installing, open it.
- You’ll be presented with some boxes.
- Make sure Check server for daily updates’ is ticked.
- Make sure Automatically apply updates’ is ticked.
- Make sure that Use 127.0.0.1′ is ticked.
- Next, tap on Download and Install Hosts’.
- Wait for the app to make the directed changes.
- Reboot your device.
- When it comes back to life you’ll be ad free.
