Borderlands 2 This Just In can be acquired if we talk to Mordecai in Sanctuary after Toil and Trouble story mission. He tells us about a character known as Hunter Hellquist, who is spreading lies about our actions (we can listen to his broadcasts after each major mission if we pick up the ECHO recorder from the booth in center of Sanctuary). Because of this, Mordecai wants him silenced.

Borderlands 2 Arid Nexus is actually divided in two parts, Arid Nexus Boneyard and Arid Nexus Badlands, the latter being accessible only after we complete an objective during a story mission.
When we have the possibility to travel to Eridium Blight, we may want to use the southern exit point to Ore Chasm. In here we can find a loader named InnuendoBot 5000, who has been reprogrammed by Moxxi. If we speak to him we get access to the Hyperion Circle of Slaughter, Hyperion Slaughter: Round 1 being the first one out of five rounds in this tournament.
Borderlands 2 Toil and Trouble is the next story mission that is activated at the end of the previous one, Where Angels Fear to Tread (Part 2), when we speak to Mordecai in Sanctuary. He says to go and find out where the Warrior is buried in order to find Jack and have our revenge.
Borderlands 2 The Lost Treasure can be activated in Sawtooth Cauldron, if we listen to the ECHO recorder from the cardboard box found near a tent from Sawtooth Stills region (the yellow exclamation mark on the north-eastern side of the map). If we listen, we find out that the bandits have a map to the lost treasure of Old Haven, thus we have to get it so we can find this treasure.
