Connect iPod Touch To Internet

The iPod Touch uses Wi-Fi to connect online to the internet, means it can connect a network at home, office or anywhere that offers open Wi-Fi, you will needed a password if the network is protected.

First thing we need to do is to turn on the Wi-Fi on the iPod touch. Go to Settings then Wi-Fi now makes sure to turn it on.

Now we can try to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi with the iPod touch. Go to Settings then Wi-Fi the iPod touch will now detect any wireless networks in range. Choose the network you want to join. You may need to enter a password which is indicated with a lock icon. If the network is open or unprotected you will not need a password. Hit Join when finished.

You will only need to do this once with the iPod touch, now it will automatically connect to the network whenever the iPod touch is within range. You will notice a Wi-Fi icon on the iPod touch screen whenever you are connected to the Internet and bars to indicate the strength of the signal.
