Shortly after releasing iOS 9.2 beta 2 and OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan beta 2 to the developers, Apple has released the first beta of Apple TV’s tvOS 9.1 (build number: 13U5061d) to developers.

The tvOS 9.1 will be the first software update for tvOS and unlike iOS and OS X software updates, installing the beta version of tvOS is not very straightforward. You need to connect your new Apple TV to your computer using a USB-C to USB-A cable, and install the software update using iTunes.

Apple has not provided any release notes for tvOS 9.1 beta and we will update you as soon as we get more details about what is included in the release. If you are an Apple TV developer and found any new features or changes in tvOS 9.1 beta, please let us now in the comments.
