ViewSonic ViewPhone 3 Clears FCC

ViewSonic smartphone has just revealed ViewPhone 3 (V350) which just cleared the FCC. It is previously geared towards Russian and European users, now the company hopes to make a splash with the device at CES. The View Phone 3 features dual-SIM technology and will be marketed in Latin America. It offers quadband GSM and EDGE, and also for North American purposes, 3G limited to 850MHz spectrum. It packs 3.5-inch HVGA display, 512MB RAM and delivers two upgrades over international version an 800 MHz Qualcomm CPU and Android 2.3. ViewSonic planned to sell the unlocked version for mere $250.
