Earlier this week, Canonical revealed its first Ubuntu Linux powered tablet, the Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition. This is the first commercial Linux tablet running Ubuntu Linux and will be available in March through BQ’s online store.

Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition features a dynamically adaptive user experience, capable of providing both a true tablet experience and the full Ubuntu desktop experience. In other words, you can use it as a tablet, or with an HDMI monitor and a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard as a PC. This tablet also marks the first step in Canonical’s long held vision of a single, converged personal computing experience using an OS that runs the same software stack on both the phone and any connected devices.

The Tablet will feature a 10.1-inch full HD display, MediaTek quad-core MT8163A 1.5GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, MicroSD slot (up to 64GB) and 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual flash. While Canonical has not revealed anything about the pricing of the tablet, some sources claims it to cost $260.
